Mitutoyo statement over de Oekraïne crisis

Mitutoyo Europe heeft een zeer multicultureel team, bestaande uit mensen van over de hele wereld. Eén van onze belangrijkste managementprincipes is het ondersteunen en bevorderen van vrede, geluk en harmonie in alle omgevingen.

Daarom uiten wij onze diepe bezorgdheid en droefheid over de escalerende militaire agressie die momenteel in Oekraïne plaatsvindt. Aangezien we collega's en vrienden hebben in zowel Oekraïne als Rusland, is dit iets waar we sterk over hebben nagedacht. Hoewel we over de hele wereld afzonderlijke Mitutoyo-organisaties hebben, staan we samen als één team en delen we ons geloof in vrede en diplomatie, waarbij schendingen van het internationale humanitaire recht volledig in strijd zijn met onze bedrijfswaarden.

Om de mensen te steunen die door dit conflict worden getroffen en momenteel in nood verkeren, hebben we opgeroepen tot een donatiecampagne binnen de Mitutoyo Europe Group. Mitutoyo Europe zal het bedrag dat onze collega's doneren verdubbelen en als gift naar het Rode Kruis sturen om de vluchtelingen van deze militaire agressie te steunen.

Als het gaat om vrede onder de mensen, mogen we de hoop niet verliezen, en zullen we nooit opgeven.

One of our top management principles is to support and promote peace, happiness, and harmony throughout all environments.

Therefore, we express our deep concerns and sadness about the escalating military aggression currently happening in Ukraine.
As we have colleagues and friends in both Ukraine and Russia, this is something we have thought deeply about.
Even though we have separate Mitutoyo organizations throughout the world, we stand together as one team
and share our belief in peace and diplomacy, with violations against international humanitarian law
completely contrary to our corporate values.

In order to support the people affected by this conflict and currently in need, we have called for a donation campaign within the Mitutoyo Europe Group. Matching what our colleagues donate, Mitutoyo Europe will double the amount that is to be sent as a donation to the Red Cross to support the refugees of this military aggression.

When it comes to peace among mankind, we must not lose hope, and we shall never give up.
